Meet Rose Weir
Rose has worked over 30 years with children and adults who have experienced physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse and well as working with individuals and families who experienced loss of a loved one, relationships, employment, and pets.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Shippensburg University, a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Temple University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Education from Bucknell University (Certified in both elementary and secondary school counseling). Rose is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose perspective is working with individuals and the environment that impacts them, such as their family relationships, work relationships, friends, employment/ or school.
Rose is a Certified Trauma Professional who utilizes evidence-based therapeutic modalities to assist clients in their healing journey. Rose has extensive training in the field of trauma. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She utilizes other methods of treatment, such as Emotional Freedom Technique, aka Tapping, and somatic activities.
